USA, FINLAND & TRYSIL

Almost straight from Mammoth, with a pit stop in Oslo for 12 hours, then Finland, more exact Levi, Lappland. The 4 * TTR Catfight contest went down up north in Finland, it was a lot of fun, and cool to meet many of the girls again, that also was at the Sistasession in Mayrhofen in January.
The contest went so so for my sake, but that happens sometimes. The important thing was that i had a good time there, and it was a cool course and park to shred! Urška Pribošič, also Rip Curl rider, took 1st with a run like this: frontside 180 on to switch backside 180 out on the rail, frontside 720 mute grab, backside 360 tail grab, frontside 360 tail and a tailtap on the last jib feature. Way to go Urška! ;)

After Finaland i was home for 2 days, Olya came to visit Oslo, hanging out with Elin and me. Then she joined us on the road to Trysil, were the Norwegian Championship went down! Big Air and Slopestyle was on the schedule. I didnt do to well at the big air on Friday, the speed was straight down all day, the first run was okay, but on the 2nd one the speed was so much better, and i couldn't control the spin, so went far and had to sit down. Well that happens, and it was my first big air contest, so im just happy i got to be in it!
Congrats to Silje Norendal for taking 1st, Marte Søderlund 2nd and the awsm Anette Bandidos on 3d ;) She´s just Rock n Roll!

Next day was the slopestyle qualifiers, i made the finals with taking the last spot, 6 went through. I was glad that i landed my run. Sunday was the day for all the slopestyle finals. I had fun, landed one run, and on the other two i wanted to push my self a bit and went for a cab 5 on the first jump. Almost landed, but i was to much on my heels, so had to take my hand and but down in the snow, well im good with that, i got 5th at the end. And all the girls were riding so hugh and stylish! Fun to watch, it just made me more stoked and want to push my self to ride even better!

Congrats to all the winners through the week, an awesome event!
It was 3 years since i last joined the Championship, so i hope to be apart of it next year too, not to be missed =)

Now im just gonna ride here home for the next 2-3 weeks, Spring Session,
then its Oxborn Session in Tandådalen in Sweden at the end of April. I'm going there cause Rip Curl is sponsoring the event, the whole Scandinavian team is gonna be there, so that's cool.
Well even tho its only boys that is riding the contest this year, im excited to go back there to ride the park.

oh and i gotta mention fellow team mate Stian Aannestad who took 2nd in Big Air and Ulrik Badertscher, a good familyfriend, who took 3d in both Big Air and Slopestyle, throwing down some awsm stuff! congrats guys ;)
