It was off to Gothenburg in Sweden this weekend for the Chalmers BigJump Open.
Rip Curl sponsored the event, so almost all of the Rip Curl Scandinavia team was there!
A lot of fun, but a sketchy jump! Stian Aannestad got 3d place and Joacim Nyhaugen took the Crowdpleaser, with a backflip double nosegrab! And congrats to My Svensson for taking 1st for the girls.(She was the one who won the sponsorship with Rip Curl at the Sista Sessions in Mayrhofen)
I managed to fly almost in the bottom of the landing on my ass! So when that happened twice after 4 runs on the jump, it was enough! It was hurting bad, but hey that's how it goes.. So im just gonna chill a couple of days, before i am back on the board ;)
Note to my self: do not wax my board before a contest, waaaay to much speed or maybe just take a speed check!! :(
So after that it was only one thing to do, PARTY! ;)
